About David
Everyone has the capacity to express themselves artistically. It is my reward to lead students to that realization.
I went through the non-traditional licensure program to get my teaching license.
I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree focusing on Drawing and Painting. I had vast Art History education as well. I taught various levels of art in grades 6-12 for six years.

It's been many years since I actively taught in a classroom, but I have seen a continued interest in art among some former students, and that is gratifying.

Which skills and objectives are of primary importance to me? What foundational skills do I have? How much practice/homework will it take to reach the proficiency I want?
