About Carl
Like to help people understand the basics of 2D art. I can dabble with what ever art format that a student might want to explore. In the process I can do specific research to help them learn that area they want to learn.
i have some experience with digital art, and basic animation skills. Iam proficient with a digital tablet. I know some photoshop, Maya 3D, sketchbook pro, and I have a gaming background.
Iam currently a 2D Art teacher for 2 years, I also had experience in the retail industry making art for displays and store fronts.
I have a 3yr. Certification in teaching Art for K-12 students. And Iam working towards my professional certification.

I went to a school hiring job fair and the Middle School where I currently work hired me.
Iam currently an art teacher at the middle school level, but I relate to adults as well that would like help with their art. I have a BS Degree in Digital Media and Gaming. I was on a team where I was a level designer and built the cockpit for a alien spaceship game. I also helped with stage scenes between levels of a game called Z-City.

Finding out what they can already do in art. Try and build their confidence from there and focus on their strengths, then give constructive criticism on the things they should work on.
I have worked with 6,7,8th grade students. I have also worked with adults on retail projects for the Home Improvement industry.
Understand Art is a craft that anyone can do if they just work at it. I don’t believe anyone is born a natural, there is no substitute for hardwork to get you better at anything in life! With patience and perseverance you can become a better artist!
we just built a display for the St. Lucie fairgrounds school exhibit contest. We placed 3rd for the 1st time in 14yrs. According to my principal.
