About Michael
I am an independent artist who uses multiple skillsets in the 2d realm to create and thrive professionally. I have been painting with all mediums and scales - from sketchbooks to murals - drawing and tattoing for over 20 years. I have been a full time artist for 8 years. My practice revolves around technique and knowledge of meduims and process before venturing into expression of ideas and emotions. To me, developing a technical understanding and proficiency of your chosen material is essential to eventually producing good work. This is my underlying teaching philosophy.
