About Dex
Hi I'm Dex, I'm a 3rd year Chemistry student at Imperial College London and I think that education is generally way too broad and impersonal. Learning can be challenging and application of difficult topics can seem impossible. My approach is to make the learning process more personal and 1 to 1. That way, the needs of the student can be properly addressed and focused on so they can achieve their very best. Secondly, I know how frustrating it can be when a topic just doesn't click. I also know that when that happens, a 1 to 1, non-judgemental teaching approach is required. Most people, to some extent, can feel a little overwhelmed at times. Supportive and focused tutoring is the best way to understand these difficult topics. If you're looking for a patient, understanding and knowledgeable tutor, then consider me. I have reviews and results that support my teaching - so let that give you confidence. I know that exam success is hard work, and with my help, hopefully we can see real results. Further proof of my personal A-level achievement can be given, on request. Over the course of several lessons with my son, Dex was able to explain some concepts my son has struggled with for months. Clear explanations!
Dex clearly knew what he was talking about and helped make the topics more visual - which really helped with the abstract parts of a maths A-level! Great stuff!
Dex was a great, super understanding tutor for my daughter. He helped her get her head around some of the most difficult GCSE chemistry and maths topics. Highly recommend him
Helped my son exceed his target grades! Great tutor!
Dex was able to clearly explain my daughters a-level maths coursework, and prepared her for her statistics exam. His explanations were well understood and very clear
Dex helped me with my Chemistry A-Level revision and it helped so much. He consistently provided me with the tools to solve problems on my own. He was very clear in his teaching.
