About Yasmin

I am a professional artist, muralist and creative facilitator based in Byron Bay with 25 years of experience across the creative industries. My work spans large-scale public murals, brand activations for premium clients and community art events — all built around the belief that creativity has the power to connect, uplift and transform.

As founder of Brush N Beats — an art and music events brand — I have facilitated creative sessions for people of all ages and backgrounds, creating environments where everyone feels welcomed, encouraged and inspired to express themselves.

My teaching style is encouraging, relaxed and judgment-free. I meet every student where they are, whether they are picking up a brush for the first time or looking to develop an existing practice. I genuinely love watching people surprise themselves with what they can create — and that enthusiasm shows in every class I teach.

I am fully committed to the people I work with and take pride in delivering a professional, engaging and memorable experience every time.

About the lesson

My art classes are hands-on, relaxed and genuinely fun. I believe everyone has creativity inside them — my job is to create a safe, encouraging space where people feel free to experiment, play and surprise themselves.

I teach across all ages and abilities, from young children to adults, adapting my approach to suit each student. With kids I focus on imaginative play and creative exploration through painting, drawing and mixed media. With adults I work on developing personal style, building confidence and learning techniques that bring their vision to life.

My background combines 25 years in the creative industries as a producer alongside delivering art sessions and becoming the founder of Brush 'N Beats — a creative art and music events brand — I have facilitated hundreds of sessions for diverse groups, always with warmth, energy and a focus on making sure every participant leaves feeling proud of what they created.

No experience necessary — just a willingness to pick up a brush and have a go!
