About Ekaterina

I am a scientist and educator with a passion for making complex ideas simple and accessible. I hold a PhD (cum laude) in Chemistry from RWTH Aachen University and Jülich Research Center in Germany, a Master's degree in Medical Physics, and a Bachelor's degree in Physics — both from Lomonosov Moscow State University, one of Russia's most prestigious universities.
My scientific career has taken me across Europe, working at leading research facilities in Germany, France, and Italy, including ESRF Grenoble and DESY Hamburg. This international experience has given me the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and educational systems.
Beyond science, I have 14 years of experience as a dance teacher, running group classes and working with students of all skill levels. This has shaped my teaching philosophy: patience, structure, encouragement, and a genuine belief that every student has the potential to succeed when given the right support.
I am currently based in Dubai, UAE, and offer online lessons to students worldwide. I am fluent in Russian (native), English (C1), and German (B2), so I can tutor comfortably in Russian and English.
When I am not tutoring, I enjoy keeping up with the latest developments in physics, nutrition science, and health technology — fields that reflect my lifelong curiosity about how the world works.

About the lesson

I hold a PhD in Chemistry from RWTH Aachen University in Germany and a BSc in Physics from Lomonosov Moscow State University — so I bring both deep scientific expertise and genuine passion for mathematics and physics to every lesson.
My teaching style is clear, patient, and encouraging. I believe that any student can succeed in mathematics and physics with the right explanation and enough practice. I never just give answers — I make sure you truly understand the reasoning behind every step.
Lessons are conducted online via Zoom or Google Meet, with flexible scheduling. I work with students from school age through university level, covering topics from basic algebra and mechanics all the way to calculus, electromagnetism, and exam preparation.
