About Arindam
I’m a friendly, patient and approachable maths tutor with a professional background in IT programme management. My career has developed strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills, which I bring into my tutoring.
I enjoy helping children build confidence in maths and discover that challenging topics can become much easier when explained in the right way. I believe every student learns differently, so I take a supportive and personalised approach to each lesson.
I work with students from Year 4 to Year 8, helping them strengthen their fundamentals, improve problem-solving skills, keep up with schoolwork and prepare for the next stage of their education.
Outside of tutoring, I’m always keen to learn new skills and find better ways of explaining complex ideas simply. I aim to make every lesson positive, engaging and productive.

I provide friendly, patient and structured maths tuition for students from Year 4 to Year 8.
My approach is centred on making maths simple, engaging and easy to understand. I first identify areas where a student needs support, then adapt each lesson to their individual learning style and ability. I use clear explanations, worked examples, guided practice and targeted questions to build both understanding and confidence. I encourage students to explain their thinking, helping them develop strong problem-solving skills rather than simply memorising methods.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes, with flexibility depending on the student's age, concentration and learning needs.
My professional background in IT programme management has strengthened my analytical, logical and problem-solving skills, which I bring into my tutoring approach. I am particularly passionate about helping younger students develop a strong mathematical foundation and a positive attitude towards learning.
My lessons are suitable for Year 4 to Year 8 students (approximately ages 8–13), including students who need additional support, want to strengthen their fundamentals, or would like to be challenged and progress further.
My goal is for every student to finish each lesson feeling more confident and capable in maths.
