About Chelsea

My various areas of mastery make me the perfect fit to be your tutor: whether it is to help you/your child get into their dream college, attain that perfect test score, or help them catch up and get ahead of the curve in class in math, reading, or writing. Reach out to me today! I am happy to schedule a free consultation to determine whether I am a good fit for you/your child. I aim to meet the needs of every student who is motivated and aspires to do better, so my rate is negotiable!

About the lesson

Get ahead of the curve with targeted tutoring! I provide exceptional tutoring for students of all ages. For elementary and middle school children, I provide reading, writing, and math tutoring services in K-6 students. I am experienced in working with both private and public school students and am familiar with private and public school elementary, middle, and high school curriculum.

I love working with students, and I am confident I can help your child boost his or her confidence in math! I know that I will be able to help him/her because I will consistently ask whether or not he or she understands. I know that students are sometimes too shy or afraid to ask teachers when they don't understand, but I am very patient and will find multiple ways to explain something. The rate is $75/hr for virtual tutoring and around $120/hr for in-person depending on the location, but pricing is negotiable and I am more than happy to meet your needs. I always make learning fun, and come up with new and innovative ways to teach kids in a clever way, so that they can work smarter and not just harder.

For high school students, I have exceptional tutoring experience in Geometry, Trigonometry, Algebra, Algebra 2, Precalculus, Calculus, Calculus 2, and Statistics. I have helped students secure 5s on the following APs: AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, AP Statistics, AP Psychology, and AP Chinese Language & Culture.

With a nearly perfect 1600 SAT score, I’ve achieved mastery in the SAT. Having helped a plethora of students prepare for standardized testing of all sorts, I am able to bring my experience as an expert to help you achieve your perfect score. My services include all materials, of which I have access to over 80 real official SAT/ACT tests that I will use to help you practice and secure that perfect 1600 SAT score.

Shes very outgoing, and works hard to keep my son engaged. Very flexible in terms of timing, and makes an effort to match our schedule and is very understanding for last minute cancellations. She is absolutely amazing in math. She is the best tutor we have ever worked with, very kind, and replies quickly.

Chelsea has been a fantastic tutor. She is a rockstar. High energy, very friendly and approachable, very prepared, and she clearly knows her stuff. My daughter enjoys her reading and writing lessons a lot which she struggled with before working with Chelsea. Thank you!!
