About Suzanne

Suzanne's teaching experience includes having 10+ years of IELTS Preparation and ESL teaching experience living and working in Hong Kong, Japan, Thailand, Mexico, Australia, and Canada. She has also had experience as a Business Management and HR Management Instructor as an Academic Tutor teaching international students at the International College of Management Sydney.

About the lesson

My methodology includes providing students with an interactive learning experience to help them be successful at mastering the English language.

IELTS Exam: For scores of over 6.5. To prepare for your IELTS exam, we will use an IELTS specific text book and workbook to study from. The books I will recommend to you are excellent resources to help you with each IELTS language skill: listening, reading, writing, and speaking, plus advanced grammar and vocabulary. While you work through the written exercises, I will provide you with the tips, techniques, and strategies to use in order to achieve a high score for each skill. I will also provide you with other resources as well, including websites, videos, and online tools to help you succeed. As your coach, I will focus on your speaking skills, specifically coaching you on accent reduction and accurate pronunciation. I will use practice tests to help you feel comfortable doing the IELTS test prior to the real one, as well as to monitor your progress. I recommend that when preparing for the IELTS exam, that you begin studying a few weeks before the actual exam. The IELTS exam is a very difficult exam, but with the proper training and techniques, you can do it!

For the professional letter writing and resume writing, I will provide you with tools and resources to help you choose the correct tone and format. These resources will be via text books, online resources, and videos. I will guide you, and provide written correction and feedback on the work that you produce to help you write correctly when composing professional letters and resumes.
