About Dana

I have 3 years of experience tutoring nursing students.
Graduate Registered Nurse from UON & Medical student at WSU.
I have worked in various ward settings including: Med/Surg, Rehabilitation, Mental Health, Palliative Care, OT & PACU.

I first began tutoring english & maths to primary school students and discovered lots of ways to make tutoring engaging and fun (if you can believe it).
I have always enjoyed tutoring nursing students as it helps me to stay on top of best-practice care & consolidate my own knowledge through teaching. Additionally, tutoring is often a two-way street for me- in that i always learn something new from everyone i meet!
My teaching aims to in-still confidence in my future colleges (you!) to maximise your learning and best prepare you for a successful career in the world of nursing.

About the lesson

Tutorials are aimed at all AIN, EEN & RN students.
My tutorials will be centred around your individual expectations, areas of concern & goals of learning.
I will gauge your acquired knowledge & tailor my tutorials to your current topics, assessments & placements.
Tutorial session lengths are flexible to your schedule & content (ranging from 20mins-1hr).
