About Lorraine
Kia ora! I’m Lorraine, an experienced tutor with 6+ years of teaching children and young people in New Zealand and China. I currently work in after-school care with primary students and provide private tutoring for learners from primary to high school.
I am bilingual (English/Mandarin), which allows me to support ESOL learners and explain concepts clearly in both languages when needed. I also understand the challenges of adapting to English-medium schooling in New Zealand, so I tailor my lessons with patience, encouragement, and practical strategies.
