About Pierre-Louis
I am a research MSc in applied mathematics at Polytechnique Montréal with + 3 years of experience tutoring private and for university courses. I have tutored students with many different levels, from middle school to graduate school.
Prior to starting my MSc in Montréal, I completed a 5 years engineering degree in applied mathematics in France (INSA). My area of research is machine learning for climate and meteorological applications.

I offer personalized tutoring in mathematics, tailored to your learning style and goals. With over 3 years of experience teaching at both the university and private levels, I provide clear explanations and effective study plans.
My approach to learning mathematics resides in always drawing the full picture, in order to generate a more in-depth understanding of the notions, and foster a greater interest in the subject (which is the key to succeeding!).
Being a teacher's assistant at the Quebec AI Institute (MILA), I can also teach theoretical and practical basics of machine learning and deep learning. I will be happy to provide an introduction course to the subject, or help you pass your ML courses with A+.
