About Kylie
I love to learn and, even more, love to inspire that passion in others. I taught English at a Spanish elementary school throughout the 2022-2023 school year. Before that, I had taught piano and voice for 3 years and had been a chemistry and math tutor for 2 years.

My top priority when teaching any lesson is to encourage excited learning from my students. I get to know my students as individuals and approach the topic that best suits their learning styles and interests. For example, I would teach math to an artistic student by first revealing the creativity and artistic virtue behind many mathematical topics. I incorporate games, discussions, and drills into each lesson.
I am happy to tutor students of all ages! The levels I tutor for each subject are as follows:
Math: K-8 mathematics, algebra, calculus 1&2, trigonometry, statistics
Science: Chemistry (General, up to college level 2), Ecology (through high school), Earth Science (through high school)
Music: Music Theory (Intro-AP), Piano (Beginner), Voice (Beginner)
