I found Mark on Italki in 2023 while searching for an English tutor, and never looked back since then! I was initially on the lookout for someone with a real personality, serious attitude, and who would just simply be fun to talk to (I know one's not supposed to judge a book by its cover, but hey, that's what we all have to do anyway, haven't we?), and so after scrolling through a dozen pages of cookie-cutter videos neither of which clicked, I figured I got really lucky the moment i got to Mark's video. Two years in now, it's still as great as it was from the outset to practice English with Mark: fun, engaging, deep when it needs to be, and as deep as you want it to be. Mark has helped me write songs in English, discover a bunch of great books, films and music artists I wouldn't otherwise discover, and we are always having a good laugh together, learning a ton in the process. I never really needed anything like a job interview prep or any kind of "English for Business"-type lessons, because with Mark my vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, and everything else, just evolved naturally to the point where I can easily crack anything of that nature that my industry throws at me, without touching ChatGPT once (which seems like "what kids do these days" a lot, at least in my part of the world). Bottomline: Mark is a fabulous English tutor, can't recommend him enough.
