About Diamond
I have been in education for 10 years, starting out as a 6th grade English Language Arts teacher in Washington, DC many moons ago! Since then, I have specialized in project-based learning, arts integration, creative and argumentative writing, and have taught in public, charter, coeducational, and all-girls school settings.

My lessons are fun, engaging, and culturally relevant. I like to explore literature from diverse authors, genres, and time periods. Students will be probed with critical thinking discussion topics and writing prompts. Media literacy will also be a necessary skill practiced through the examination of photographs, videos, and art.
