About Ken
I speak English as my native language. I am graduate of International Relations. Outside the classroom, I am a freelance 2.5D animator and Motion designer. I love meeting new people, reading a good book, some research, movies, good music, singing, animation and video games.
I make my lessons as interesting as possible and I believe I am an awesome teacher. I also like to move with the pace of my student, because my goal is to help you learn.

I have worked as a university professor for about 3 years. I taught college students between the ages of 18 - 50. The experiences gained here gave me even more confidence in my abilities as a teacher. I have also taught as an online teacher for over 10 months, with many repeat students because of my teaching style and effectiveness.
In teaching English, I focus on communication, then vocabulary-building, pronunciation and grammar. Communication is key because it is the reason for learning English in the first place. So as we have small talks and conversation, I correct the student's mistakes like grammar, vocabulary and pronunciations. This method has proved very effective for me over the years.
In teaching English as a Second Language, I try to elicit response from students and gauge their English language level first. Picking an area of interest in English language is also paramount at the beginning of my lessons. This gives us a direction. I frequently use role-playing too, especially when we delve into conversations or questions and answers. This would help my students learn quicker.
