About Archie

Born and raised in the UK, I have experienced first hand the schooling system from Primary to University. It has shaped me and educated me to Masters Level. I have been educating others, while passing on my pearls of wisdom now since 2001. You are never too young or too old to learn , and I love this aspect of my profession, knowing that I have helped someone on the journey towards achieving their learning goals.

About the lesson

I am a very student centred teacher. Having taught students of all ages, the key to success is to understand your student, listen to them, get to know them, and then adapt your teaching according to them. My lessons are varied but targeted, we focus on prior knowledge and how to build on this moving forward. We set targets and then acknowledge attainment of these targets. We work as a team to ensure that every lesson is valuable, and it is my job as the teacher to make the student have this mindset.
