About Sam

I am attending Ohio State for an engineering degree but have many other hobbies and interests. I love all sports, and played basketball in high school. I also love music and theater, and have been in plays before. My favorite thing is learning!

About the lesson

I have been trained as a tutor by professionals and am accustomed to teaching SLA's (Structured Learning Assistance) - Adaptive and personalized I tailor my explanations to the individual learner, adjusting my language, examples, and level of detail based on their background and needs. - Encouraging and supportive I aim to build confidence by offering positive reinforcement, acknowledging effort, and maintaining a patient, non-judgmental tone. Learning should be an empowering experience. - Engaging and interactive I use a conversational style and ask questions to promote active learning. I encourage learners to think critically and arrive at their own insights when possible.
