About James
As a math tutor, my top priority is to create a positive and comfortable learning environment for my students. I have extensive experience in taking challenging math courses as an engineering student and working with tutors, which has given me insight into the difficulties that students may face while learning math. My teaching philosophy centers around building a strong rapport with my students by tailoring my approach to their individual learning style and encouraging them to ask questions and provide feedback. I take great care in preparing structured lessons and use real-world examples to make concepts more relatable.
