About Justin

My name is Justin Han, and I’m currently a student at the University of Texas at Austin studying Electrical and Computer Engineering. I have had prior tutoring experience for the last two years in SAT Math, Calculus AB, and Pre-Calculus in many different settings, including private 1-on-1s in person, 1-on-1s virtually, and even in a classroom-based setting for a local summer camp. I believe in simplifying concepts for students and building upon a deeper fundamental understanding of the "why" behind certain concepts. Here are some of my academic achievements:

About the lesson

I believe in helping students develop skills that are efficient in their learning so that they can save time. Instead of pure memorization, I believe in helping students build systems to help them learn and understand what they are learning at a deeper level. I do not assign extra work; rather, I believe in helping students by walking through the concepts they are learning with them to help them not only understand the material, but also build healthy and efficient studying habits.

Additionally, I provide my students with resources that they can access outside of tutoring time, so that they can receive the best help that they can. This includes sessions notes, formula sheets, and more.

Lessons are done on Zoom, and lesson notes are shared through Google Drive.

Justin’s has tutored my kid Jayce for the past six months and he’s done an amazing job. So much has changed since Justin first started tutoring Jayce. Jayce now asks when Justin is coming and I can tell he really looks up to Justin. Jayce id definitely having more fun in school as well, and is actually excited to learn in class now that Justin is supporting him.
