About Srishti
If you're looking for a tutor who gets excited about spreadsheets, probability puzzles, and explaining "why" instead of just "what", you've found the right person!
I'm a postgraduate student at Imperial with a passion for maths, finance, and data science. Over the years, I've realised that the biggest obstacle for most students isn't ability, it's confidence. My goal is to make challenging topics feel approachable, enjoyable, and even a little fun.
My lessons are interactive rather than lecture-based. Expect plenty of questions, real-world examples, and moments where we'll break down complicated ideas into simple, logical steps. Whether we're tackling algebra, statistics, economics, or quantitative finance, I focus on helping students understand the reasoning behind solutions so they can solve problems independently.
Need help preparing for GCSEs, A-Levels, university exams, coursework, or interviews? We can create a structured plan together. Want to go beyond the syllabus and explore machine learning, investing, or data analysis? I'm always happy to dive deeper.
I aim to create a relaxed, supportive environment where no question is a "silly question."

As a postgraduate student at Imperial with a strong background in mathematics, STEM, finance, and data analysis, I aim to make learning engaging, structured, and tailored to each student's needs.
My teaching approach focuses on developing a deep understanding of concepts rather than memorisation, helping students build confidence and long-term problem-solving skills.
1. Personalised lessons based on each student's goals, strengths, and areas for improvement.
2. Clear explanations of fundamental concepts before progressing to advanced applications.
3. Interactive problem-solving sessions to encourage critical thinking and independent learning.
4. Regular practice questions, exam-style exercises, and feedback to track progress.
5. Use of real-world examples, particularly for mathematics, economics, finance, and quantitative subjects, to make learning more relevant and engaging.
I typically offer 60 to 90-minute lessons for secondary school, sixth form, and university students. I provide support in mathematics, STEM, data science, and finance for A-Level, and undergraduate content.
