About Matthew
I am working on my elementary education associate's degree at Paradise Valley Community College. I have been a reading specialist with the Volunteers In Paradise program the last 3 semesters. I greatly enjoy working with my students and watching them improve in their struggles with reading disorders and difficulties. I have also worked in elementary level before/after school programs. I look forward to using my experience to help students who need extra help with their studies.

Once I know what my students are struggling with, I find materials appropriate for their level. I can also examine the material they are studying in their classes and build lessons around that. I am a teaching aide and elementary education major, so if there is something I can't find, I can ask colleagues. I have been working with k-2 students the past 3 semesters as a reading specialist. My students are continuing to improve with my help.
