About Laura

I am an Educational Assistant who has worked full time with students for over 25 years, first in a daycare setting and then for the past 20 years in the schools and online teaching FDK-5 (math, English, and Science) and grades 9-12 Life skills and English. I have experience teaching on the Zoom platform, as well as the TEAMS platform.

About the lesson

My lessons are fun and technology based. I use videos/ stories/ interactive activities along with hands on activities to teach/ support and engage my students .

I take the lead of my students teachers and parents to engage students and to create a fun ,
Focused based daily routine.

Laura has been working with my 10 year old son for a few years now offering 1 on 1 help with his school work. My son has ADHD and ODD and has an IEP which Laura has helped follow.

My child is doing well at school with Laura’s help, she encourages him to be independent, more organized and complete all of his assignments/homework.
