About Naim
Hi, my name is Naim, I am 20 years old and live in Windsor, Berkshire. I attended Harrow School where I studied Mathematics, Physics and Economics at A-Level. I am now reading Economics and Finance at the University of Bristol in which I have just finished my second year.
I tutored full-time for a year after Year 13 whilst on a gap year and have been tutoring for the past two years whilst completing my degree. I specialise in Mathematics, Physics and Economics at A-Level and GCSE but have also tutored English at GCSE and all parts of the 11+ examinations (verbal, non-verbal, comprehension and mathematics).
I have taught kids from as young as 7 years old up to 18 years of age. The A-Level and GCSE students are only a few years younger than myself which is one of the reasons I usually find it very easy for the student to relate to me as I was in their shoes only a few years ago and hence why I usually build a good rapport with the students. As I have been tutoring for the last few years, I am very well-accustomed to the new 9-1 syllabus which many of my counterparts will not be.

Each student will require a different method of teaching and so the structure and intensity would be tailored towards the students strengths and attributes:
Step 1) I would create an assessment in order to highlight the level and ability of the student and would also like to find out about the goals of the student (ie. currently doing Foundation Tier Maths but would like to be moved up to Higher Tier Maths)
Step 2) Homework will usually be set so the first part of the lesson would be going over the homework set and tackling any issues or problems causes by it
Step 3) Starting the next topic which would usually follow on from the last topic
Step 4) A chance for the student to bring up any queries concerning school work, school homework or a past paper they have come across
Step 5) Lesson review (a part I find crucial for learning) as a well as an opportunity for the student to ask any questions about the topic covered
