About Thelma
Having taught 483 students, I have learned that being neurodivergent-affirming creates the best environment for deep conceptual learning. My 13 years of experience means I understand exactly where students get stuck on the periodic table and trends.
I have a BS in Biomedical Sciences from Duke University which informs how I break down organic chemistry and stoichiometry. Many of the learners I assist are working toward competition prep like JEE, NEET, or the Olympiad. Dealing with electrochemistry is much more manageable when you have a clear system for the math. It is genuinely fun to see someone finally grasp a mechanism after months of confusion.
