About Ivonne

Graduating with a BS Mathematics from the University of Florida provided the foundation for my current teaching practice. I confess that nervous beginners occupy a large portion of my weekly schedule. My work focuses on u-substitution, limits and continuity, and Taylor series alongside derivatives and optimization problems.

I also cover implicit differentiation plus sequences and series to round out the core concepts. Judgment matters just as much as technique when you are solving these complex problems. I teach the shortcut only after the long way makes sense.

About the lesson

Starting with the first session often feels counterintuitive because I refuse to move forward until the base logic remains solid. Past-paper walkthroughs occur each session to ensure that you understand the mechanics behind the equations.

We spend time building your intuition rather than just drilling repetitive formulas for hours on end. I emphasize that knowing when to use a theorem is as vital as knowing how to perform the actual calculation. This approach allows students to build real understanding before they worry about grades. I enjoy helping students navigate the frustration that comes before the final breakthrough.
