About Priscilla
I’m currently completing my doctorate in clinical and school psychology, where I work directly with students in academic and school-based settings. I have also worked before teaching children with autism. Through these experiences, I’ve developed strong skills in communication, learning support, and adapting instruction to meet individual student needs.
As a tutor, I prioritize professionalism, patience, and reliability. I understand that asking for help can feel intimidating, so I strive to create a supportive and judgment-free environment where students feel comfortable learning and asking questions. My goal is not only to help students improve academically, but also to help them build confidence in their abilities.
I take preparation and communication seriously, and I’m committed to providing organized, thoughtful, and encouraging support during every session. Whether a student needs help strengthening foundational skills or preparing for exams and assignments, I aim to make learning more approachable and effective.

Lessons can be for anyone! Whether you have a child struggling with multiplication or a college student taking chemistry for the first time, I am happy to help! All lessons will be tailored to each student. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt sessions to fit each student’s learning style, pace, and goals. Whether we’re reviewing foundational concepts, preparing for exams, or improving study skills, I strive to create a comfortable environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions and grow. Outside resources, such as review videos and formula sheets, will also be provided. Typically I will first go over concepts and see what the students baseline of understanding is and then jump right into practice problems. We will start with working on the problems together and move towards the student doing them on their own with me checking. I enjoy and encourage working collaboratively with students and will implement any feedback given! I love tutoring and am always looking for the best for my students! :)
