About Antonino

I am a PhD student at the University of Messina, where I studied and worked for 5 years. I have always had a great interest in humanistic subjects, history first and foremost, matured also through a rich and fruitful course of studies. My interests range from an eventual history, to social and religious history, together with anthropology and political history. I have always looked for debate with colleagues and classmates for a mutual enrichment, sometimes offering private lessons or repetitions in the past years. I participated in university exams, albeit a few times, as an assistant.

About the lesson

My methodology is based on lectures, to a single person or to a group, according to a participatory model aimed at developing critical thinking on the subject inherent to the lesson. The approach to the subject is therefore free in its initial phases, then set in a discussion aimed at examining the subject of study in such a way as to be better understood by the single student / group or by the group, in the case of several participants . My speech will consist of asking questions and guiding the progress of the discussion, so as to address the key points under every angle (interdisciplinarity will not be excluded in the case), in addition to settling doubts or perplexities in case it occurs. The lessons will not be purely notional but critical and participatory, aimed at students or students interested in better understanding the subject (s) in question or in deepening the most incomplete points. The intent is to stimulate logical reasoning through participation, as well as the critical interest in the topic.
