About Yoan
Mac Gyver can build a helicopter with a paper clip and chewing gum. I can create happiness with a pencil and a sheet of paper, two simple tools, but enough to change a life.
Here is how they changed mine:
In primary school, with my friends, we drew stories with lots of characters who lived in fantastic settings. I understood that drawing was a means of creating a collective vision.
In college, I had fewer friends, but I loved cars, so I learned on my own how to represent them. Some students even paid me to draw their favorite racing car, it made me happy that people liked my creations. The college was a difficult experience, people made fun of me a lot, I wanted to change cities so as not to run into certain students.
My visual arts teacher found that I had talent, she advised me to apply for an Applied Arts school, the only high school that offered it was far from the city of my college, it was an opportunity to start again zero.
I was selected from over 300 candidates and I met young people who were like me, they all liked to draw, create, tell stories ... In a way, drawing had just saved me.
For 3 years, we have been trained in 4 areas of Design: Fashion, graphics, product and space. We also learned to look at the world from a new perspective, to see how we could improve it. I then understood that drawing could help me see the world differently and, if I had the strength and the desire, drawing could even be a means of changing the world.
After my studies I started working as a graphic designer for associations and individuals. I created the communication media for many events. Posters, Flyers, Logos ... I helped to give visibility to concrete actions. In parallel with my work, I continued to draw for fun, to tell stories, to give life to my ideas. All this, until now.
I now wish to share my passion and my skills, in my own way.

I believe anyone can draw. You have the right to think otherwise.
I invite you to go get a sheet and a pencil.
All set up ? Great !
Hold the pencil in the hand you are most comfortable with. (If you cannot or do not want to use your hands, you can hold it in your mouth or between your toes, or have someone hold it for you.)
Then read the following instructions aloud:
1) "I put the pencil lead on the paper".
2) "I move my wrist, my arm or even the sheet".
3) "I Lift the pencil lead"
4) "I take a look at the result.
Are you satisfied with what you see?
If so, let's jump to the next paragraph.
If not, start again from step 1) and repeat at least 3 times.
Congratulations! You have just made your contribution to the great artistic gallery of the universe. You can be proud of yourself!
How did you feel during the exercise? To help you put words into these emotions, you can close your eyes and remember those few moments of creation.
Was it a happy, pleasant, soothing, sweet moment? Or a frustrating, uncertain, unpleasant experience?
Artistic creation is a sensitive and unpredictable process, which is why some people may need to be accompanied in their practice.
My support is above all a meeting, a moment of exchange and sharing.
I consider myself responsible for the physical and emotional security of the people I accompany from the moment we come into contact.
The drawing work can be done before, during, after the course and is in no way compulsory.
At each session, I guarantee the presence of the following equipment:
- HB pencil
- 80 gram white paper
