I am a former professional basketball player. I studied undergrad at Virginia Military Institute. My bachelor's degree is in Math, Science, and English with a distinction in Psychology. I currently hold a valid VA teaching certification. I specialize in memory techniques and chunking information. I tailored my style to the student, always meeting them where they are mentally.

During my lessons students will be given clear success criteria’s before diving into an engaging activity. This is followed by broadened explanation of content followed by a check for understanding. Through this method I am then able to see the disconnect between the students understanding of lesson success criteria. By doing this I am able to focus specifically on problem areas in understanding.
