About Kevin
Hello! Thank you for considering me as your tutor. Math and science might not be your "thing," but I hope after working with me, you might start to change your mind or at least change your grade a couple of letters! I am a University of Michigan graduate from the engineering school. I really do enjoy teaching and making my lessons as engaging as possible. If you're bored, then I'm bored and that doesn't make for a great learning environment. Whether you're reserved, outgoing, or awkward, I hope that you will feel comfortable in our sessions together. This will be a space where life doesn't have to be taken so seriously. Don't expect any tiktok dances out of me, though I am quite the dancer; instead, expect a challenging, fun, and inspiring learning experience. With that being said, let's get into some vectors or related rates!

My teaching method is drilling the concepts into my students' heads followed by key practice problems. I cannot stress this part enough. Understanding the concepts, the backbone of a subject or principle, will allow you to strategically work through any problem that comes your way. This is what will separate the B students from the A students at top colleges. Memorizing problems will only get you so far, especially in a class like physics where each concept builds from the previous one. With over a decade of experience in tutoring, I can quickly identify a student's learning weaknesses and support them while keeping the lesson engaging. Growth and improvement is inevitable when working with me. I can't help it! My lessons are primarily for high school and undergraduate students.
