About Maksim
Teaching practical skills such as programming allows for the development of problem solving skills that can go beyond the subject of programming or mathematics, which can lead to more self sustaining people who think through issues logically. Of course, it also leads to more opportunities that can form a career or simply automating small tasks such as inputting data from a file to a spreadsheet. This and my personal that a person should pass their skills onto others is the reason I teach.

Anyone can become a confident programmer and mathematician with the correct mindset and work ethic. My lessons teach fundamentals of the topic chosen utilising a few examples that I personally walk the student through, then a session of going through problems whilst the student explains their thought process, to ensure they understood the example and have no questions or issues, then the student is given a set of problems, ranging from easier or equivalent to the example to challenging variations of the same concept that the student can do in their own time to the best of their abilities. This is done to allow the student to learn independently and see how well they understand the topic, any questions in this stage can be saved for the next session or the student can contact me to get a quicker response for smaller issues. I do this as I believe a teacher should always be available to ensure a student does not hit a wall and lose motivation.
My sessions can range from half an hour to two hours mattering on the students needs and the topic at hand.
I have taught python and mathematics in a non professional capacity from the very basics to an A Level standard. My relevant qualifications are an A* in mathematics and A in computer science at A Level. A 9 in mathematics and a 7 in computer science in gcse.
My programming lessons are primarily aimed at people of any age who want to learn the basics of programming to people are ready to make functional scripts such as webscrapers.
My math lessons are aimed at Gcse students all the way from year 7 to 11.
