About Victoria

With a master's degree in special education, specializing in moderate disabilities for PreK-8th grade, I bring a unique blend of experience from my years in public schools and as a private tutor. My approach is rooted in a deep care for each student's growth. I specialize in differentiated teaching, which means I adapt my methods to match your child's unique learning style. Every student is different, and I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. My sessions are anything but boring; I use a variety of engaging materials, from educational games and fun activities to targeted skill-building exercises. The goal is to make learning enjoyable and effective, ensuring your child not only understands the material but also develops a positive attitude toward learning.

For the past five years, I've had the privilege of tutoring a student who is now entering the 6th grade. Their progress in both reading and math has been remarkable. This experience taught me the importance of consistency and building a strong foundation. I'm dedicated to achieving similar results with your child, helping them build confidence and close any learning gaps.

My extensive experience in public schools has equipped me with a wealth of resources and a deep understanding of what students need to succeed. I'm skilled at scaffolding material on the fly, adjusting the difficulty up or down as needed to keep your child challenged but not overwhelmed. This flexibility ensures that every minute of our session is productive. For students who live more than a 25-30 minute drive from my location, I suggest digital learning to lighten the commute and ensure our sessions are as convenient and productive as possible for everyone involved.
