About Karen
I was a Fulbright scholar to help develop the English department at a South Korean college. I taught English in P.R. China at the Chongqing Medical University. I developed a new department and was an instructor at a Canadian college and have taught privately for years. I hold a Master's in Philosophy from Germany, and a Master's of Environment from Canada. I have experienced that a student will learn a language better, and faster, in a kind and supportive environment, rather than in an environment that builds fear in the student. We learn from our mistakes, but we just have to keep trying.
