About Sophia

I was inspired to become a tutor by my own learning journey. School was not always easy for me and it took years to learn the techniques to succeed in classes. I understand how frustrating that experience can be and want to help others so they can improve in their courses and develop systems for continued success.

About the lesson

My lessons are personalized to each student, but always leverage the latest science related to learning and memory. My lessons always include time for self-reflection and strategy that provide my students with learning strategies they can use for the rest of their lives.

I offer tutoring for elementary through adult learners. My first meeting is free as I want to get to know each student's needs and make sure I will be a good fit.
