About Abby
I am a classically trained vocalist with many years of experience in both choral and musical theater settings. My background includes high school choir, chamber choir, the Williamsport City Choir and Chamber Choir, and church choir. I earned First Chair at PMEA Regionals and PMEA All-State, a competitive honor awarded through auditions judged by professional music educators.
In addition to choral work, I have performed in several musicals, both in and outside of school, including Christine Daaé (The Phantom of the Opera), Regina George (Mean Girls), and Veronica Sawyer (Heathers). I also have a fondness for jazz, and enjoy exploring phrasing, style, and flexibility across genres when appropriate.
Now based in NYC, I bring both technical knowledge and real performance experience into every lesson, creating a welcoming, supportive space for singers to grow in skill, confidence, and musical expression.

My lessons are built around helping singers develop a healthy, confident, and sustainable voice using strong classical technique as a foundation. I focus on breath support, tone quality, range development, diction, and musical expression, while adapting each lesson to the individual student. Whether you’re brand new to singing or have years of experience, lessons are paced in a way that feels supportive, encouraging, and productive.
I work with students in New York City preparing for choir and musical theatre auditions, other vocal related auditions, solo performances, or those who simply want to feel more comfortable and confident singing. I combine structured vocal exercises with repertoire that fits each student’s voice and interests, creating lessons that are both effective and enjoyable. My goal is for students to leave lessons feeling motivated, informed, and proud of their progress.
