About Yu Fan
I graduated from SMJK JIT SIN, a prestigious school in Penang and I studied for a Bachelor's Degree in UTM. I teach primary, secondary, and also college subjects such as UPSR, IGCSE, SPM, STPM and also A-level. For the primary level, I teach Chinese, Malay, English, Mathematics and Science. I am very proficient in Science and Maths subjects. I focus on Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Additional Maths for the secondary school level. I have a deep passion for teaching those subjects and my teaching method is very interesting and it won't be dull! I received top-notch comments and feedback from my students and also parents. I have one student who doesn't understand physics at all but fortunately, she met me, and I managed to help her a lot. Finally, she got a good grade in her examination when she was in Form 4. I have an Indian boy who got A* in his May/June 2022 IGCSE Mathematics paper. These are only some of my past experiences, why not have a class with me, you will definitely get fruitful results.

I will inform the students to look through their textbooks or reference books regarding that subtopic before class commences. Then I will guide them to create a mind map which includes those important points and details in that chapter. Because when students understand that topic themselves, they manage to remember more clearly in their memory so that they won’t rely so much on their tutor. After they have a rough and general understanding of that topic, then when I lecture and explain on that topic, students can easily comprehend and they won't feel overwhelmed and stressed. After each lesson, I will give topical questions, past papers for them to complete at home and I will explain their mistakes. Every student has to be active and always involved in the Q&A session. That’s a brief introduction to my teaching method.
