About Nakina
I am a chemistry student at Colorado School of Mines. I have always had a passion for learning. I also know that traditional teaching styles and classrooms don't work or provide enough attention in some cases. I want to be a resource to prevent either of these from deterring students from learning and enjoying the process. Learning is part of life and should be available to everyone.
I was a student that couldn't always get help from my parents because processes have changed much since they were taking the same classes. This is another barrier, but we can work through it.
I also teach a well-being course at my campus, which has given me the tools and experience to prioritize the people (or person) in front of me. Learning is a team experience. I have many tools and processes. Some may work, some need to be altered to work best. I know that school teachers don't always have the capacity or permission to do this. I'm here to balance the scales.
