Chemistry major at UIUC with a 3.81 GPA certified to teach general and organic chemistry from high school through college level as well as the SAT.

I've known Steven for around five years, and honestly, he's one of the most reliable and genuinely good people I know. He's got a real passion for chemistry, not just knowing the material, but actually enjoying breaking it down for people, which I think makes a huge difference when you're trying to learn something that can feel overwhelming. He's patient, easy to talk to, and never makes you feel dumb for not getting something right away. On top of that, he's just dependable. If he says he'll help you out, he shows up and puts in the effort. I'd trust him with pretty much anything, and I think anyone lucky enough to have him as a tutor is in good hands.

I was a student of Steven’s during my time as a high school percussionist playing marching snare drum. As a member of the Marching Illini, Steven brought a mature way of thinking that was new to me, and helped me to become a member of the Marching Illini myself. He never failed to make me feel comfortable, and he kept me engaged and wanting to learn. Through this, he transformed me into a strong player over time. Whether it be complex topics that needed to be walked through one step at a time, or refining basic skills to prepare me for what’s next, Steven kept me prepared and motivated to become the best version of myself!
