About Aanya

I am a dedicated and high-achieving tutor with a strong academic background and a genuine passion for teaching. I completed the International Baccalaureate (IB), studying Higher Level Biology, Chemistry, and Global Politics, and achieved Subject Excellence awards with a 7/7 in both Grade 11 and Grade 12.
I am currently in my second year of Chemical Engineering, where I continue to build strong analytical and problem-solving skills. My academic success reflects my discipline, consistency, and deep understanding of the subjects I teach.
I aim to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing confidence. I believe learning should be both effective and enjoyable, and I am committed to helping students achieve their academic goals in a clear, structured, and positive way.

About the lesson

I take a patient, supportive, and structured approach to tutoring. I focus on breaking down complex concepts into simple, easy-to-understand steps and adapt my teaching style to suit each student’s learning pace. I use practice questions, real-life examples, and active recall techniques to strengthen understanding and build confidence.
My lessons are typically 60 minutes long, including concept explanation, guided practice, and independent problem-solving with feedback.
I have experience tutoring primary and high school students, helping them improve their understanding, grades, and exam confidence. I am strong in explaining concepts clearly and ensuring students fully understand rather than memorise.
