About Hunter

Who I Am as a Tutor 1. Passionate About Teaching I genuinely love teaching. Helping students "get it" and watching their confidence grow is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do. 2. A Parent and Educator As a parent of three, I understand kids—not just how they learn, but how they feel. I bring patience, empathy, and encouragement to every session. 3. Bridging Old Math & New Math I help students (and sometimes parents!) make sense of today’s math by connecting it to traditional methods. This balanced approach builds deeper understanding. 4. Real-World Relevance I show students how math applies in everyday life, from managing money to solving real problems. When learning feels meaningful, it sticks. 5. Supportive & Relatable I create a safe space to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow. I meet students where they are and help them move forward with confidence
