About Ian

I am from Hong Kong and moved to UK for around 5 years, fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.

I am a tutor with over two years of experience supporting students across DIFFERENT academic levels to achieve strong results.

Recently finished my A Levels, familiarise with the most recent specifications.

Achieved 2A* 3A in Computer Science, Maths, Further Maths, Physics and EPQ on AI Research

Offering guidance for personal statements and Oxbridge interviews.

As a Computer Science offer holder from Cambridge, Imperial, and UCL, I bring a strong academic background, with consistent Gold achievements in UKMT from Year 9 to Year 13, Bebras Gold in coding, and hands-on project experience such as implementing pose estimation into a game.

I am FULLY committed to helping each student learn with confidence and ease. My lessons focus on building a problem-solving mindset while connecting textbook content in a simple, meaningful way that makes understanding much easier.

Carefully adapt each lesson to suit the student’s individual needs.

Always take the time to listen patiently to their questions before explaining things clearly and directly.

To help students strengthen weak areas, I also provide topic-related exam questions so they can practise effectively and make steady progress.

I have seen him teach multiple students online before, and all have achieved significant improvements.
