About Akila
I am a graduate of Western Sydney University, Australia, with over 20 years’ experience as an IELTS trainer and a professor of English Language and Literature, as well as a member of the Cambridge English Language Teachers Association. I established my own brand of IELTS teaching in the name of GREENS ACADEMY in the year 2002 with the head office at Trivandrum, Kerala. I also have contact offices in Chennai and Hyderabad.
I have trained more than 10,000 students from various countries to score IELTS 7+. I am also a multiple-time award winner of British Council & IDP.

The duration of this IELTS course is 30/60/90 hours, with special attention on Reading, Listening, Writing and Speaking skills. The material is updated regularly, and has additional audio-video lectures to provide full understanding. Mock Tests are regularly held. The specialty of this course is that it clearly gives the do’s and don’ts of each module, so that the students get a good grounding to ace the IELTS examination. Students will be thorough with Writing and Speaking modules, since I follow an easy, pattern-based approach for the students to acquire standard skills.
There will be special sessions for Grammar, Vocabulary and Pronunciation, to help improve the learner’s oral fluency and cure stammering or stuttering at the exam. I also train the students in speed-reading techniques, so that they are confident and efficient at the exam.
I have received hands-on training from British Council, and have been a British Council Associate for over 20 years. Thus, I am regularly informed of changing trends in the IELTS exams, and also receive latest material for the exam directly. The mock tests are assessed based on the original answer sheets of IELTS, giving students the exact mood of the examination.

score IELTS 7+ IN THE FIRST ATTEMPT!
