About Jody
I studied environmental sciences at U.C. Berkeley, and I was the first in my family to finish college at a four-year institution. It took a lot of work!
I am passionate about lowering the barriers of entry to four-year education for students from all types of backgrounds.
My tutoring career began as I attended community college in Modesto, California. While at Modesto Junior College, I studied a little bit of everything, but mostly biology and chemistry.
Math and English have always been my best subjects, and I love being able to make them more approachable to my students.
I am a firm believer that learning doesn't have to be hard. It can be fun!
