About Amine
I'm Amine, a Computer Science student at the University of Bath. I'm currently on a data science placement with a global pharmaceutical company, and my studies cover algorithms, machine learning and software engineering. My classmates elected me as their academic representative for over 150 students, so I'm used to explaining difficult ideas clearly and supporting people who are struggling. I've also lived in seven countries, so I'm comfortable teaching students from any background. I'm patient, punctual and well prepared, and my aim is simple: steady progress and better grades.

I’m Amine, a Computer Science student at the University of Bath, currently on a placement in data science. I teach GCSE and A-Level Maths and Computer Science to students aged 14–18, and I also help adults returning to maths.
How I teach:
First lesson: a short diagnostic to find exactly where the gaps are, so we don’t waste time on what you already know.
Each topic: I explain it step by step, then you solve problems yourself while I watch your working. Most marks are lost in method, not in the final answer.
Exam technique: we work through past papers for your exam board (AQA, Edexcel or OCR) and learn how marks are awarded. That’s where quick grade gains come from.
Computer Science: we write and debug real code together in Python, and cover theory, algorithms and the programming project.
Between lessons: short, targeted practice, with a quick progress update for parents if wanted.
Lessons last 60 minutes, or 90 minutes for A-Level or exam preparation. They run online with a shared whiteboard, or in person in London.
