About Kin Hei

I am a dedicated and professional tutor currently completing a Master of Teaching (Secondary) at the University of Melbourne, with teaching placements in Victorian schools and extensive experience supporting students across secondary and university levels in mathematics, science, and academic skills.

My teaching approach is structured, patient, and results-focused. I take time to understand each student’s goals and learning style, providing clear explanations, step-by-step guidance, and constructive feedback to help students build confidence and achieve consistent progress. Lessons are carefully planned to ensure students feel supported, challenged, and well-prepared for assessments.

About the lesson

I use a structured, student-centred approach focused on clear explanations, scaffolding, and targeted practice to build strong foundations, exam skills, and independent thinking. Lessons are adapted to individual needs, including support for EAL learners.

I am currently completing a Master of Teaching (Secondary) at the University of Melbourne and have experience tutoring secondary, and university-level students in mathematics and science across curricula such as VCE, IGCSE, and A-Level.
