About Uday

I am Uday Nilkantharao Deshmukh, trained through the one-year Foundation Course in Drawing and Painting at Chitrakala Mahavidyalaya, Amravati, and the ATD program from the Government Drawing College, Nagpur. My teaching career spans from 1996 to 2020 in schools and extends to college-level instruction at institutions such as Rahul D.Ed College in Thane. I want to share my knowledge because decades of traditional practice and classroom work have shown me how strongly structured guidance can shape an artist’s growth. Teaching allows me to pass forward refined techniques, disciplined methods, and a lifelong understanding of art that I have built and tested through years of dedicated work.

About the lesson

Each class is designed to be warm, supportive, and clearly structured. Students begin with simple demonstrations, then practice step by step with gentle guidance. Focus areas include drawing, shading, portraits, and traditional mediums. The goal is steady improvement, confidence, and an enjoyable learning experience.
