About Selina

I am a Secondary school teacher with a degree in both Teaching and Interior Design.
I have spent my career teaching sewing/art/woodwork to secondary school students but enjoy spending my leisure time drawing/painting/illustrating for children's books.
Want to draw successfully? I can teach you!!
You can view some of my work on instagram @handmadebySelina.M or @illustratedbySelina.M

About the lesson

My classes are based on each students independent focus and level. You can tell me exactly what you would like to learn to make or else if you have a specific skill you require then I can work out the project item for you to best teach this skill.
I am happy to accommodate for multi level classes as long as you are all working on a similar themed project. And classes can be timetabled as a one-off lesson or else as an on-going session.
I am myself a very practical learner so prefer to teach skills through "doing" rather than giving practical theory on a topic.

Selina is a great teacher with the ability to help explain things in a way that is easy for me to understand and enjoyable. She is also very patient and kind. Selina will always take the time to listen to what I need and then find a solution that is appropriate. I highly recommend Selina!
