About Joris
Originally I am from the Netherlands, after 10 years having served as an Officer in the Royal Netherlands Navy, I had several other jobs, of which 1 year as a General Manager of a Hotel in the United Kingdom. I 2003 I went to China where I stayed for 7.5 years teacher E.S.L., E.F.L., and E.S.P. at several Universities. I wrote 3 books for E.S.P. and 1 book for E.L.T. for the Universities I worked at. I got my appointment as a Professor of the Yunnan University in Lijiang and as a Lecturer at the Changsha Medical University.

My teachings need to be nice and fun, so you can learn easily. It is better to learn with a laugh, a joke, and a song, after all, it is learning a language, a new language. A language you daily use, a second language, not just a foreign language.
