My main focus within the first session or two is to create an environment where the student is comfortable. Creating a comfortable environment for the student is vital if they are to succeed in their study outside of school.
I will work through problems with the student that they have from school and supply them with extra work if they so wish.
I believe it is important that the student understands the very basics before learning more advanced principles or areas within their study.
